Laser

Over the last decade injections has become the preferred treatment over Laser in Retina. However, in the real world there is still a definite role of Laser. Laser can be delivered in the eye in 3 different ways. The preferred way in a particular patient depends on various factors, including the condition of the eye, age of the patient, his/her ability to co-operate etc. We do laser for ROP in premature babies, laser for CSR in young people, laser for Diabetic retinopathy in middle aged people and laser for retinal tears in elderlies! In RIB we have a dedicated space for doing retinal laser therapy and all 3 modes of delivery.
