We have a highly sophisticated premium phaco surgery unit with Dr. Santanu Ganguly who has the experience of over 40 thousand cataract surgeries over past 18 years. We are the pioneers of Trifocal, Toric , Toric trifocal IOL, IPCL and normal monofocal IOL surgery .
We perform microphaco with 2-2.2 mm incisonal surgeries . Our cataract surgery unit uses IOL master 700 and verion image guided cataract surgery system which gives us almost zero error optical biometric calculations and best in class image guided facility while performing Toric or trifocal IOL. We routinely perform verion guided cataract surgery to minimize or neutralize preexisting astigmatism which if not treated properly can cause serious visual compromise or post operative refractive surprise. Our cataract surgery unit boasts of precision in calculation and execution in cataract surgery for the benefit of our patients. With trifocal IOL we offer the patient the benefits of completely glassfree surgery where after cataract surgery the patient need not wear glasses at all. Our recently launched service include IPCL or implantable contact lens for correction of extreme range of refractive errors , where even high myopia of even -20 to 25 d can be corrected rendering the patient glass free.
We use IOL MASTER 700 from Carl-Zeiss Germany which is considered the best optical biometry machine in the world. IOL master 700 gives extremely precise IOL power calculations which gives the best results to the patients. Several times after cataract surgery the patient is left with refractive surprise which we tend to avoid by using IOL master 700
The VERION image guided cataract surgery system guides the surgeon about the length and location of the surgical incision and the placement of Toric IOL axis . It also guides the surgeon about the capsulorhexis size and centration which are particularly important for Trifocal IOL during glass free cataract surgery
In the cataract section we have the best in class phaco machine named CENTURION from Alcon USA which is considered the best phaco machine in the world. Because of the high quality cutting and Fluidics this machine gives very predictable results and cause minimum tissue trauma.
